Amarillo Father Murders Wife and Two Children, Commits Suicide in Shocking Crime
AMARILLO, Texas – An Amarillo man shot and killed his wife and two children before committing suicide.
The murder-suicide took place before 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 3600 NE 14th Ave.
A family member contacted 911 after discovering the bodies.
Jose David Olmos, 42, murdered his wife Jessica Rose Olmos, 33, and their two children, according to authorities.
Police did not reveal the names of the two children, but they are Jazele and Daniel. Jessica and her two children were shot numerous times and died on the spot.
Saturday night, crime scene tape was used to secure the home.
The Homicide and Crime Scene Units were both present.
